Taqueria Zapata (The Fish Taco) ****

Printer Friendly Version

Ok, so first, the only thing I've ever had here is the fish taco. But a scrumptious fish taco for three bucks is all you need to know. I usually get it with guacamole, which pushes the tab up to a little over $4 with tax. It's good, buttery, mouth-watering fish sauted with mushrooms. You get some chips and your choice of salsa at the little salsa bar. Don't forget the lime.

Perhaps someday I'll try something else. But I doubt it.

Uh-Oh: December 2006: Something was horrible wrong on our last visit. The taco was way salty and half of it was missing...no mushrooms or green onions or even rice? Anyway, I'll give them one more chance...someday. What a disappointment.

May 2007: The last experience was so disappointing, I've yet to go back and see if it was just a fluke =(
