I try this restaurant once every five years or so. Why? I'm usually duped by the good reviews it gets. Plus, it's located three blocks from my house. Plus, my favorite Thai restaurant closed a few years ago and I can't find a replacement. But this place has been totally mediocre everytime I've tried it.
This last time it was beyond boring. Totally bland. I might cut them some slack, but for a Thai restaurant, this place is expensive. Although I'll admit that the food presentation is on the fancy side, the portions aren't anything special. I've tried vegetarian dishes, fish dishes, and stuff off their "spicy" section and they all lack this certain thing called flavor.
This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had in a long time. I've felt totally gypped. I couldn't help but thinking what a great meal I could of had elsewhere.
